The way the morning sun sparkles, bouncing off freshly fallen snow is so captivating!
When I was in junior high I was the girl that wore glitter makeup every day. As a cheerleader in high school, I loved the excuse to wear glitter once again. Sadly, it seems the working world just doesn't embrace "sparkles" like sporting events do...
I don't like the cold and darkness of winter and the travel headaches the snow brings, but I do LOVE the sparkle the morning after a good accumulating snow. Thank you God for natural glitter!
Recently I discovered this fun trail and nature area right next to Target. It was just beautiful - untouched after this week's snow. Can't wait to have a relaxing Sunday afternoon picnic here this spring!
After 8 inches of snow fell earlier this week, I went in search of a little green. It's nice to see there are still a few signs of life in this bitter cold!
I hope through the cold and storms of winter, you are able to stay cozy and warm with the ones you love!
Although I don't really do the New Year's resolution thing, I decided on New Years day that I am going to try a 365 project.
After doing some research, I decided my venture will technically be a "52 project". I'll be posting one picture each week. It's going to be real life - my real life - that week.
I want to learn and grow as a photographer, and this project will force me to try new and different things. Hopefully by this time next year, I will be helping others by creating something physical from important and beautiful memories that can be cherished forever. And it'll be fun too! :-)
